Edouard Perrin, France, is a freelance investigative reporter. He previously worked with French public television France 2 and for the Cash Investigation series.
In a 2012 investigation in conjunction with the BBC, Perrin revealed details of secret agreements between the Luxembourg tax authorities and multinational corporations that allowed companies to drastically reduce their tax bills. Perrin was awarded the Louise Weiss prize for European Journalism and the 2014 Ilaria Alpi "Best Television Investigation" in Italy for his part in the investigation.
In 2014, Perrin worked with ICIJ on the Luxembourg Leaks investigation, based on the same set of secret documents, that revealed widespread aggressive tax avoidance by some of the world's biggest brands.
He was a Knight-Wallace Fellow at the University of Michigan (2016). He was awarded the "Journalist of the Year" award at the "2016 Assises du Journalisme" in France and was on the 2016 Politico Europe list.
