Roel Landingin, the Philippines, is the editor-in-chief of Entrepreneur Philippines, an online business news website. He is also a contributor to the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism (PCIJ).
Formerly, he was editor of the Philippine edition of the Forbes magazine, Manila correspondent for the Financial Times, Manila bureau chief of Bloomberg News and business editor of a local newspaper.
His reports on the mismanagement of foreign aid in the Philippines and how corruption doomed a government flagship airport project won awards in the country’s most prestigious investigative journalism awards in 2008 and 2009.
He was part of the ICIJ team of journalists who worked on the Offshore Leaks in 2013 and on the privatization of water around the globe in 2003.
He also edited a book in 2011 on some of the corruption-plagued infrastructure projects and deals during the presidency of former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo from 2001 to 2010.
