Hala Nouhad Nasreddine, Lebanon, is head of the Investigative Unit at Daraj Media, an independent regional media platform based in Beirut, since October 2020. As an investigative journalist, Nasreddine participated in international cross-border investigative projects including Shadow Diplomats, Uber Files, Ericsson List, Pegasus Project, Pandora Papers and FinCEN Files, as well as several investigations produced in the framework of those projects.
Nasreddine was previously an investigative fellow at the Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ) and a freelance investigative journalist with ARIJ since 2015. Her investigative work mostly covers corruption, financial crimes and tracking money, especially in public procurement.
Nasreddine is a former Project Manager at the international non-governmental organization Berghof Foundation (Beirut Office), which specializes in dialogue, mediation and conflict transformation. She has an MA degree in International Affairs and a BA degree in Communication Arts - Journalism from the Lebanese American University.
