Hanene Zbiss, Tunisia, is an investigative journalist and trainer in investigative journalism.
She has produced several investigations on topics related to corruption, terrorism, health and education in Tunisia and in Iraq. She participated in ICIJ’s Implant Files project with ICFJ, as a part of the Inkyfada team.
Zbiss has won several Arab and international awards, including the Samir Kassir Award for Freedom of Press (2014) and the Raif Badawi Award for Courageous Journalists (2019). She was nominated for the Global Investigative Journalism Network’s Global Shining Light Award in 2015.
She teaches investigative journalism in the Press and Information Science Institute (IPSI) in Tunis. She is also a consultant for several national and international organizations working in the field of training and media support.
