Jyri Hänninen, Finland, is a journalist for the Finnish Broadcasting Company.
He has participated in several ICIJ investigations.
Previously, he worked in Helsingin Sanomat and as an editor for the publishing company WSOY. In 2015, Hänninen was awarded the prestigious Lumilapio Prize for the best investigative journalism in Finland.
Hänninen has published a wide range of stories about tax havens and how the wealthy Finnish individuals and companies are using offshore havens. He has authored five books, including “Tax Havens and Finland” and “The Cost of Being Poor”.
