Koami Domegni, Togo, better known under the pen name of Maxime Domegni, is a prize-winning investigative journalist.
He has worked on ICIJ's Panama Papers, Swiss Leaks, Bahamas Leaks investigations.
He has worked with various local media, including Forum de la Semaine, before joining the investigative newspaper L'Alternative in 2010. At L'Alternative, Maxime has worked on several investigations within Togo and internationally.
Maxime also covers West Africa and issues of transnational justice for the website JusticeInfo.net. In 2017, he was editor of This is Africa.
Maxime is passionate about journalism and new technologies. He often reporters on subjects related to mineral resources, public governance, illicit financial flows, corruption, etc.
In 2016, he won the African Award for Excellence in Journalism (Ziméo) in the natural resources category.
