Madeline O'Leary, France, was a full-stack developer for ICIJ from 2018 until January 2022.
She helped develop ICIJ's internal communication platform, the
I-Hub, which allows ICIJ's journalists and partners to
communicate and share information securely.
Outside of ICIJ, she is also a lead developer and board member for Terms
of Service; Didn't Read, an
open-source internet literacy and online privacy advocacy project that
aims to simplify and promote understanding of terms of service agreements.
Before joining ICIJ, Madeline worked as a full-stack developer for a
start-up, and before that, she worked in New York City as a journalist
investigating leveraged finance in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and
energy sectors. She is originally from St. Louis, Missouri.
