Murali Krishnan, India, is currently an international broadcaster based in New Delhi, India.
He is also a correspondent for Deutsche Welle, Germany’s national broadcaster, and a regular contributor for Radio Australia’s Connect Asia, Radio France International and BBC’s Up All Night. Prior to this, Krishnan worked at several major publications. In his last assignment as the national affairs editor with Indo-Asian News Service, a New Delhi-based news agency, he investigated security issues and corruption.
In his 36-year-long career, Krishnan has also worked with The Statesman, at the country’s two leading news magazines, India Today and Outlook India, and newspapers including the Indian Express, The Sunday Observer and The Telegraph, and Gemini, a London-based news service. He has been a member of ICIJ since 2000.
