Ola Westerberg, Sweden, is an award-winning investigative freelance journalist and editor based in Stockholm.
He has participated in several major ICIJ investigations.
Previously a foreign editor, his work is internationally-oriented, and he has taken part in many cross-border investigations with other media organizations.
Westerberg typically works on stories about issues that overlap the usual domestic/foreign news barrier, such as international corruption and other crimes, terrorism, foreign policy, security issues, armed conflict, human rights, refugees and foreign aid.
He has also participated in exposing alleged corruption by Swedish telco Telia in several countries in the former Soviet Union, as well as by the Swedish branch of Canadian engineering giant Bombardier Transportation in the same region.
