Ola Haram, Norway, is an investigative reporter at VG.
Haram started at the Norwegian Broadcast Company and later joined Novemberfilm and TV 2. He has also contributed to international outlets such as CNBC, The Wall Street Journal and CBS 60 Minutes.
He has reported on a range of subjects, from the global financial crisis of 2008 to drug-related crime in Norway, Kurdish guerrillas and foreign fighters in Syria and Iraq. He contributed to the book “When Terror Struck Norway: 189 minutes that shook the world”, an account of the 2011 terror attacks in Norway.
Haram regularly lectures about encryption and digital self-defense for journalists. He also runs a boot camp for investigative journalism in Norway.
