Theophilus Abbah, Nigeria, is a multi award-winning investigative journalist.
One of his most important investigations focused on the misuse of the $18 billion Paris Club debt relief fund, which had been acquired in 2005 during the administration of the former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
He has carried out other investigations into corruption in the country's Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), political killings, and the bloody struggle between farmers and herders in the country, among several others. Apart from actively reporting, he has edited the following newspapers: Leadership, The Companion and the Daily Trust on Sunday.
Abbah, who holds a PhD in forensic linguistics, is also an author and journalism trainer.
